Hi, guys! Since the Blazers are now gone fishing, let's play a little game. Using the ESPN Trade Machine, let's post in here our trade wishlists, what we think needs to be done for the roster during the offseason. It has to be realistic though: please explain why it may work, and how it benefits all parties. Please take into consideration current news trends and personal issues players get involved in. You may also write some parts of the trade that aren't available in the Machine like draft picks.

I'll start with this trade, which I think will benefit ALL parties. One catch though, this is assuming Melo finally waives his "No Trade Clause." ADDITIONAL NOTES:Include pick #20 to the Knicks, and pick #26 to the Lakers. WHY I THINK IT WILL WORK:BLAZERS get a solid back-up help at the wing in Jordan Clarkson, who's been pretty awesome off the bench for the Lakers. They also get a solid back-up at the post in Willy Hernangomez, who continues to impress in his outings in New York. Finally, they get a starter who could compliment Nurkic down below in Kristaps Porzingis. LAKERS get a superstar they always wanted in Melo. Add another big body who can stretch the floor with Meyers, and a solid center in Festus Ezeli (assuming he's healthy). KNICKS get a future in Brandon Ingram and a solid veteran in Luol Deng. They'll get a defensive back-up in Aminu, and a bruiser down below with Ed Davis.

You are going to go down the Trade Machine route?!
Unfortunately, I do not think the Knicks will give up Porzingas and Anthony. One maybe, but not both. I will say, that's a fair trade. I am going to come up with a couple of others.

Utah will NEVER go with this, but it could give the Blazers some twin towers and a scoring SF, not to mention some beef off the bench in the middle. Oh the fun we get to have with the Trade Machine! Attachments:
