Chris Sheridan of Sheridan Hoops (hmm ... what a co-incidence!) has released his MVP rankings for Dec. 18 and low and behold, the Blazers LaMarcus Aldridge is in the top spot, knocking the Pacers' Paul George out of the number one position, which he had held for two weeks. LaMarcus, the reigning Western Conference player of the week for the past two weeks, has shown a steady climb up the chart over the past month. Here's what Sheridan has to say about LaMarcus: i'm really starting to look past Sheridan's past of favoring the large markets and superstars. unless, of course, he still is and LaMarcus is really too good to place below any of those guys. by the way, the numbers in Sheridan's quote come out to an average of 26 points and 17 rebounds a game. that sure sounds like MVP material to me. the entire list: 1. LaMarcus Aldridge, Blazers 2. LeBron James, Heat 3. Kevin Durant, Thunder 4. Paul George, Pacers 5. Chris Paul, Clippers 6. Tony Parker, Spurs 7. James Harden, Rockets 8. Steph Curry, Warriors 9. Russell Westbrook, Thunder 10. Kyrie Irving, Cavaliers click here to read the entire story (but please, skip the Snowden admiration section).
