As we take the day off to recognize the contributions and achievements of the labor movement, I want to wish everyone well. To those in Portland, Spokane and in other areas where it's supposed to be warm (projected 101f in Portland), stay cool!
Traditionally, and again this year, we are having a small barbecue at our house. Dad just loves getting out in front of the grill.
Saturday night through last night, several of us went to Seaside, Oregon to help Nevadanut celebrate her birthday. She's two dozen years old, according to my youngest sister Monika's declaration! We all had a terrific time!
How have you all been spending Labor Day Weekend?
