It is now coming on Week 7 of the NFL season, but before Week 7 I have to talk about Week 6 so let us begin!
AARON RODGERS INJURED?!
After a slew of star players being injured last week, another is down. This time Aaron Rodgers the QB of the GB Packers has a broken collarbone and is likely done for the season. IMO the Packers season is done, and now the NFC is wide open. Only time will tell who takes the Packers spot in the playoffs. Though if I were to pick a team it would be
Adrian Peterson's Cardinals
After not getting a good shot with the Saints, the Cardinals traded a conditional pick for Peterson and so far it looks like an excellent move. Not only did Peterson rush for 130 yards and have 2 TDs but he has reinvigorated a Cardinals team that has been in state of meh since the 2015 NFCCG. The team has a reported pep in there step and it showed against the Bucs. Admittedly, they did give up a bunch of points after being up 31-0 but the Cardinals should keep up the good play and as of today I would say the Cardinals are a playoff team. If AP keeps playing at a high level the Saints will regret trading him.
Thievery in New York
The Jets got robbed. I don't care what Riveron says the Jets were still robbed. It is the worst call I've seen since the Dez catch and the Pats are now 4-2. I'm curious to see if the Jets stay kinda good or if they fall off the cliff after this loss.
Anything is possible
Let us remember that the 0-5 Giants beat the 4-1 Broncos on the road. The 3-2 Steelers beat the undefeated Chiefs on the road. The 1-4 Chargers won a close game. Anything is possible.
Other random notes:
-The Eagles are good, but the Panthers had bad luck.
-The Falcons are chokers. I would be surprised if they beat the Pats at this point.
-The Dolphins have started to get into groove similar to last season. Gase apparently is the biggest victim of the "the first 4 weeks of the season are preseason" thing.
-Trubisky played meh again but ended the Bears 10 road game losing streak with his 1st win as an NFL QB. Congrats.
-Matt Stafford is really good in the second half. Questionable in the 1st.
-The Texans are good, although they seem overrated to me.
-The Colts win MNF.
-THE ROAD TO 16-0 is officially over and I am surprised. If you have any replacement segment ideas leave them down below. But in the meantime
THE ROAD TO 0-16
2 teams currently don't have a win. I will do this segment until every team has a win.
Teams that currently don't have a win:
San Francisco 49ers
Cleveland Browns
The Giants are no longer on the road (as previously discussed) and the teams that are left are still terrible. However another twist in the road is the 49ers benching Brian Hoyer for rookie C.J. Beathard who played really good on Sunday. The likelihood of the 49ers going 0-16 has decreased because of that. So that leaves the team most likely to go 0-16 as the Cleveland Browns who I will try to do a video on later in the week, so stay tuned.
I thank you for reading yet another edition of random thoughts and stuff, I will see you next week. This is spiderfan out.
