This week Wichita Falls owner Drew Carnes, faced with pressure from an upcoming lawsuit, suspended team operations. Fans of the team are deeply sadden. They are left to ponder when or if the team will return and in what form. The team was competitive on the field. It represented the league in admirable fashion, however its decision to leave and join the rival Champions Indoor Football League was not warmly received by the IFL and problems mounted. The team may have to pay 150,000 dollars in legal costs to fight the IFL in court. Carnes had too devote time to this and playing operations were nullified. If the team does return it most likely will not be in the IFL. The two parties will likely settle and Carnes will have to shop for a new league, perhaps the National Arena League or the American Arena League may invite them to join, this would enable the market too continue too enjoy the excitement of the sport.

Charles McCullum is now on the Cedar Rapids Titans. They should be much better this season.
