How do you feel about the big GO taking his talents to South Beach?
Personally, I am bitter. Bitter because he wasn't able to live up to potential as a Trail Blazer. Bitter because he opted to sign to a team I hate the most. But, as break-ups go, it initially ends up in bitterness. There's nothing else I could say but to wish the best of luck to him. However, I still think that his relationship with the Heat will be like what Roy had with the Timberwolves.

i have mixed feelings on it. the Oden et al era is over in Portland, i realize if he's going to come back, it's going to have to be somewhere. i will tell you right now; there's no way on earth he was not going to sign with the Heat. i know other teams were under consideration, but none of them ever had a chance. the thing that bugs me is that he didn't even list the Blazers as a possible destination. the other thing is that he never really adhered to his rehab schedule. that contributed a lot to his troubles. truthfully, i think he's just glad to be on a contending team where he may get a championship ring by doing extremely little. i don't see him as a competitor with heart. just a guy now who's trying to coast into a good situation. i never want anyone to get injured, but i have a feeling it's going to be inevitable. i won't cheer, nor boo Oden. just trying to forget what could have been with Aldridge, Roy and him. that's what brings the real sadness.

and by the way, we have Fropez now. Robin > Greg.

It's a business. Oden never panned out for the fault of whomever it may be. Tell you right now that Robin Lopez will be a better center for us than Oden ever was. I'd rather have Lopez at this point than Oden.

I am bitter fan of his and Roy...i hold grudges way to long. But he will make a pretty benchwarmer for the Heat!! I do not see him playing or playing very little and then maybe another injury, he has issues!

i don't think he'll play much either. they will try playing him 10-15 minutes a game, but i don't see him making any difference whatsoever. when they play us, he'll probably be matched up against Meyers. if Meyers can attack, then we'll be more than fine against Oden.

I do not think Greg is going to make much of a difference at all. It seems like most teams have a big center who can play against him. Injuries in sports are very mental in addition to being physical. My big question is if he will be able to keep his head in the game after all this time he has had off. At first at least I think it will be difficult for him to be on the court. I am not mad at him for playing for another team. I am a little angry that he did not seem to put everything into his rehab that he should have. The opposite of that is that I do not really want a player like that. I agree with those who say that Lopez will be better than Oden and I think it will stay that way for the rest of their careers.
