The New England Bobcats are an indoor football team based out of Hudson, New Hampshire, which just completed their first season in Elite Indoor Football league. They don the colors of black, blue and white.
The Bobcats play their games at the Chelmsford Forum in Billerica, Massachusetts. Billerica is about a 30-minute drive south of Hudson. A team of Elite Indoor Football All-Stars battled the Edge on July 21, but fell to Bloomington, 63-8. This is the first of two games against EIF teams during the Edge's summer season. The Edge will face the Illinois Renegades on August 12.
New England, in their first season, won the EIF championship with a 44-40 victory over the Southern Steam of Statesboro, Georgia. The Bobcats have announced that they are joining the American Arena League for the 2019 season. The AAL will be entering its second season next year.
ROSTER
This is the 2018 regular season roster for the Bobcats, according to the team's official website. Roster information for this game may have been changed in regards to player additions or subtractions. This roster is meant as a general guide for following the game.

The Edge are half way through their 2018 summer season and are 3-0 as they head into this game. Thus far, they had a relatively easy go of it. The Edge have averaged 57.3 points per game and are allowing just 12.7 points per game.
Coming off wins over a pair of all-star teams, the Edge face a formidable foe in the Bobcats, the Elite Indoor Football league champions. Rather than a collection of players forming an all-star team, the Edge will face a Bobcats team which, with perhaps a few roster additions and subtractions, have been together during the course of the 2018 season.
The Edge are looking to go 4-0 over their summer season behind an offense led by quarterback QuinTon Fonville. He has several offensive weapons, including wide receivers Marcus Lewis and Shawn Mitchell, as well as running back Dom Stevenson. The defense is a talented group led by linebacker Mitch Globe, and defensive backs Trey Garvey and Mitch Moore.
ROSTER
The roster above was gathered by the Edge organization to SCtoC for use in this preview. It is presented here as a general guide to following the game. Roster information including players, numbers, positions and coaching staff is subject to change.
