Last season, they were a doormat for top level teams like Arizona and Sioux Falls to pick up an easy win over, but in 2019 this has changed dramatically. The Blizzard have played some of the leagues best football throwing scares into Sioux Falls, Arizona, and Iowa. The improved play of its offense combined with a much tougher defense has made opponents rethink their Green Bay opponent. The improvement may not be enough too get the team into the post season given the increase in the quality of league play in 2019, but the respect the team has earned will be valuable for the future and could lead to a highly successful string of playoff appearances and maybe even a united bowl trophy in the future.

Green Bay has certainly bee .impressive, other than the 41-3 loss to Iowa. The defense has been exceptional the past couple of weeks. I thought the win over Quad City last week was their signature win of the season. If they can duplicate that tonight, they'll be in really good shape after completing nearly half of the season. |
