The Portland Trail Blazers are hoping to defend their 2018 Las Vegas Summer League title as they face a host of NBA opponents during the 2019 incarnation of this event.
Two dozen teams from the NBA, as well as teams from Croatia and China, will battle it out as their respective coaches look at their own draft picks, younger players and other talent around the league. The Blazers are expected to feature the younger players on their roster, including guards Anfernee Siimons and Gary Trenton, Jr.; both whom were drafted last season. Also expected to be on the roster for the summer league is Nassir Little, who was selected by the Blazers with the 25th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Each team is guaranteed to play five games. Following the preliminary rounds, the exhibition turns into a preliminary round, it turns to a tournament format lead to a Summer league Championship Game. The Blazers defeated the Los Angeles lakers in last Year's title game. A championship game will be held on June 17.
The Blazers have four opponents scheduled, including their Northwest Division rival Utah Jazz in their third game.
The Las Vegas Summer League is one of three summer leagues which take place. Sacramento and Salt Lake City play host to a pair of others, with the Sacramento event now being dubbed as the California Classic. The Las Vegas Summer League is held in two facilities on the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, Cox Pavilion and the Thomas and Mack Center.
All three summer league schedules are posted below in descending order. They will be updated nightly. All times are pacific standard time. Schedules, rosters and results will be updated as they become available. Where applicable, click on the link for the boxscore on nba, com.
