UPDATED 7/20/20 --
The WWWL has announced that all players, coaches and other personnel have tested negative for the COVID-19 virus. The league will resume its season on July 23 with a match up between the Gresham GreyWolves and West Linn Knights. First pitch is at 7 p.m. at Bob Brack Stadium in Aurora, Oregon.
A limited number of tickets are available for each game. Safety precautions such as wearing of masks, temperatures taken at the gate and social distancing will be enforced. Click WWWL Tickets for ticket requests through the league.

The inaugural 2020 season of the Wild Wild West League has been suspended one week due to two players testing positive for COVID-19. The identity of the players was not released. Games scheduled to be played from July 15 through July 22 are in suspended status, possibly not to be played. In this schedule, those games have been moved to an alternate section. League play is schedule to resume on July 23 when the Gresham GreyWolves face the West Linn Knights from Bob Brack Stadium at North Marion High School in Aurora, Oregon.
All players on the four teams in the league will receive an additional round of testing over the next seven days before play resumes, per a league announcement. The resumption date may be contingent upon the results of those tests.

There will be some baseball in the Northwest this summer.
The Portland Pickles created the Wild Wild West League, to include three other teams, which will play a four-week schedule beginning the second weekend of July. The Pickles, Portland Gherkins, Gresham GreyWolves and West Linn Knights will play the WWWL slate of games in Marion County, which is located about roughly a 45-minute to an hour drive south of Portland. Oregon's state capital of Salem is located in the county. The league originally did not disclose the location of the games due to state gathering regulations related to response to the COVID-19 pandemic, but boxcores have indicated they are being played at North Marion High School in Aurora, Oregon; approximately a 30-minute drive south from Portland. Safety requirements are in place for the games including crowd limitations, facial coverings and social distancing.
The Pickles are members of the West Coast League's South Division, but their 2020 season was shelved due to the pandemic. Oregon Governor Kate Brown has approved Multnomah and Clackamas counties for Phase I of reopening after a nearly three-month lockdown, but that phase limits gatherings of of more than 25 persons. Marion County has entered Phase II of reopening, allowing for as many as 250 persons. According to the Pickles, some fans will be able to attend games.
A collegiate summer baseball league, the West Coast League is comprised of 12 teams in the Pacific Northwest and Canada. The Gherkins, GreyWolves and Knights are not existing members of the league. The Gherkins, however, are a farm team of the Pickles. Players from the teams come from colleges and high schools in the region including University of Oregon, Oregon State University, University of Washington, Stanford University, University of Portland and several others.
All games will be broadcast on the Pickles Facebook page and on YouTube. Play-by-play is provided by local announcer Judah Newby. All times are pacific and are subject to change.
