After Vegas missed a long field goal, the Blizzard got the ball back. They added to their lead when Sheehan found Taylor in the back of the end zone. Vegas' Lyles suffered a leg injury forcing the team's top receiver, Frank Brown, to step in as the emergency quarterback. On his first pass attempt, Brown threw for the end zone which was intercepted Momodu Mbye. The Knight Hawks forced the Blizzard into a long field goal which was missed and brought out to their own 20, but they turned it over on bounds when Brown was sacked by Allaah Sessions. Toren Young scored on a cutback run to the left side with five seconds to go in the first half, and Green Bay went into the intermission with a 34-0 lead.
Vegas scored on their opening drive of the third quarter on a three-yard plunge from Elad Covaliu. The Knight Hawks got the ball back when Eric Sadler recovered Young's fumble with just over 10 minutes remaining in the quarter. The Knight Hawks were unable to capitalize as they turned the ball over on downs. After Nick Jaworski's missed 32-yard field goal try, Vegas had the ball at their own five. The Blizzard led 34-6 heading into the fourth quarter.
Brown's 27-yard touchdown toss to Covaliu narrowed the Vegas deficit to 20 early in the fourth quarter. Brown added the two-point conversion run on top of the touchdown. The Knight Hawks defense forced the Blizzard to turnover the ball on downs and responded with a 43-yard field goal from Nolan Kohorst. Jaworski lined up for a 26-yard attempt, but it sailed wide right. The Knight Hawks once more, on a 21-yard strike from Brown to Dezmond Epps. Brown hit K.D. Cannon for the two-point conversion. Green Bay was able to run out the clock to close out the scoring.
Sheehan threw for three scores and rushed for another. Taylor hauled in a pair of touchdowns, and Newbold had one receiving score. Young scored on the ground for the Blizzard. Claybourne and Mbye both recorded interceptions for the defense.
Cavaliu scored once on the ground and once through the air. Brown tossed two touchdown passes, with one of those going to Epps. Lyles got the start this week after Jaylon Henderson, the previous starter, signed a contract to play in Japan.
