The following is the complete schedule for the 2022 Canadian Football League season.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers enter the 2022 Season seeking to defend their 2021 Grey Cup Championship and try and go for a three-peat after winning back-to-back Grey Cups despite the league, excluding the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Blue Bombers won their 12th Grey Cup title last season, once again defeating the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 33-25 in an overtime thriller. The Blue Bombers look to retain their Grey Cup Championship in a three-peat, an occurrence that has not occurred since the Edmonton Eskimos won five straight from 1978-1982.
Only one team went through coaching changes for 2022, with the Edmonton Elks firing Jaime Elizondo after a horrid 3-11 season. Chris Jones, the team's head coach from 2014-2015, returns for a second stint in Edmonton after the Elks have gone through 3 head coaches since Jones's departure after the 103rd Grey Cup in 2015.
The CFL regular season returns to its original scheduling, spanning from mid-June to early November and consists of 18 games over the course of 21 weeks with three bye weeks per team. The league had gone with a 14-game schedule that began last August due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first game of the schedule kick off Thursday, June 9th as the Montreal Alouettes take on the Calgary Stampeders. Other highlights include a full slate of games over Labor Day Weekend, and only one (Canadian) Thanksgiving game this season when the Ottawa Redblacks take on the Montreal Alouettes on October 10th.
The CFL Playoffs will begin with the Division Semifinals on Sunday, November 6th and the Division Finals on Sunday, November 13th. The 109th Grey Cup will be played on Sunday, November 20th at Mosaic Stadium in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Each week's games will appear most recent at the top of the post. Final results will be updated following the conclusion of the games and listed in ascending order. Where applicable, click on the final score to view the CFL's game tracker for the complete box score.
All CFL games, including the playoffs and the Grey Cup, will be streamed across Canada on TSN. In the United States, at least 20 CFL games will be aired on the ESPN family of networks, including all the Division Semifinals, the Division Finals, and the 109th Grey Cup. All other games will be streamed on ESPN+.
NOTE: All game times are listed in the Pacific Time Zone and are subject to change.
