the NBA announced its all-NBA teams this morning, with the Blazers LaMarcus Aldridge and Damian Lillard being voted to the all-NBA third team. Aldridge received two first team votes (from Blazers TV analyst Mike Rice, who voted for him as a center, and Bill Land of Spurs TV. Lillard also received two first-team votes (from Scott Hastings of Altitude Sports and Cedric Maxwell of WEEI Radio). LaMarcus, who spent the majority of the season on the NBA's official MVP ladder, was probably robbed of at least the second team. Blake Griffin and Kevin Love beat him out, but in my humble opinion, he had a finer season than either of them. You actually could also make a case that he should have beaten out Joakim Noah for first-team honors, but that would have to have been at center rather than at forward. additionally, Noah just picked up the NBA's defensive player of the year award, so I'm all right with that. voting was conducted among 125 sportswriters and broadcasters from throughout the United States and Canada. The media voted for All-NBA First, Second and Third Teams by position with points awarded on a 5-3-1 basis. Below are the results of the voting for the 2013-14 All-NBA Teams, with First Team votes in parentheses. The balloting was tabulated by the independent accounting firm of Ernst & Young LLP. First TeamLeBron James, Miami Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Chris Paul, L.A. Clippers Joakim Noah, Chicago James Harden, Houston Second TeamBlake Griffin, L.A. Harden on the 1st team is BS. Howard and Love on the 2nd team is BS. Once again, Blazers get no respect.

I agree that Aldridge should have at least made the second team, but it's nice to see both of the guys get at least some recognition.

I thought LA should have been in the 2nd team, but anyway, its great having two players getting the acknowledgement they deserve!

I do not know why people still think so highly of Love. His team was not that good and there is no way he had a better season than Aldridge. I was kind of surprised about Lillard but I guess that is a good thing.

I reckon I'll throw in my congratulations to the L-Train and Dame. I'm really just glad they both made any team. I could have seen enough voters out there not giving them any of the respect that they've earned over the season.
