Knight Hawks 49, Strike Force 23

HENDERSON, NV - Cameron Dukes threw for five touchdowns and rushed for another as the Vegas Knight Hawks kept their playoff hopes alive with a 49-23 win over the San Diego Strike Force tonight at Pechanga Arena.
The Knight Hawks sit just a game out of the fourth and final playoff spot with four games to go. They are 5-7 overall and 4-5 in the Western Conference. The Strike Force fall to 2-10 and are on the verge of being eliminated from playoff contention. The Knight Hawks one the first of the teams' two matchups this season, 68-23 at San Diego.
Vegas outscored San Diego 35-14 in the second half to secure the win. The Knight Hawks forced two turnovers, both fumbles, while not committing any turnovers on their end.
Dukes, making his first start of the season, completed 14 of 21 passes for 176 yards and no interceptions to go along with his five scoring throws. Dez Epps caught four passes for 56 yards and two touchdowns, and Jordan McCray had four receptions for 37 yards and four touchdowns. Mister Harriel and Kalen Hicks had six and five tackles, respectively.
Jorge Reyna went 14 of 30 for 159 yards with a pair of touchdowns and no picks for the Strike Force. He also rushed for 34 yards and a touchdown. Amechie Walker led all receivers with 79 yards off four catches with a touchdown. Devontae Sapp-Lynch added seven catches for 58 yards. Eric Johnson led the defense with six tackles.
