Breakdown
STORM
Sioux Falls is positioned well in third place in the Eastern Conference standings, just a game out of second place to the Massachusetts Pirates. The Storm will undoubtedly lose the tiebreaker due to conference record (unofficial; the IFL has not announced their tiebreaking procedures). The Storm have won three straight on their quest for a playoff spot. They score 41.5 points per game (sixth) and allow 41.2 (ninth). Dalton Sneed has been solid as the Storm quarterback. He completes 64 percent of his throws for 778 yards with 19 yards and a single pick. He has rushed for six touchdown this season. Nate Chavious is fourth in the league with 42.3 yards per game to go with 15 touchdowns. Carlos Thompson, Jr. is fifth in the league with 532 yards to to with 13 touchdowns. Aaron Dilworth had 467 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Famus Hasty and Paris Taylor each have 59 tackles, while TaCorian Darden adds 57 tackles and three interceptions, and Mike Alvarez has 45 tackles. Sawyer Petre, the "Deuce Machine, is one of the top kickers in the league.
BLIZZARD
Green Bay is hanging by a thread in the Eastern Conference playoff race, but their window is closing. The Blizzard have been impressive during the past the past eight weeks, going 5-3 during that time, but losing their first four games of the season may not be enough to overcome. They face a tough challenge, but have the ability to overcome it. They score 31.3 points per game (13th) and allow 32.2 (third). Since taking over as the starting quarterback, Jack Sheehan has been on of the best in the league. He completes 56 percent of his throws for 1,552 yards with 33 touchdowns and six picks. He also has rushed for 263 yards and seven scores. Tim Whitfield has rushed for a touchdown the past three games. Keshawn Taylor is tied for the league lead with 17 touchdown catches to go along with 480 yards. Dez Stewart is back in the lineup after being on short term injured reserve. James Brown and Momodou Mbye are the IFL's top two tacklers with 100 and 91, respectively. Brown also has 14.5 tackles for loss and four sacks. Nick Jaworski made three of four field goals last week.
