On Thursday, the Indoor Football League announced its Hall of Fame Class of 2022.
Through a combination of voting input from the 14 active IFL franchises, team coaches, a fan poll, and current IFL Hall of Fame members, the league announced the additions of Nate Fluit, Carl Sims, and Charlie Bosselman.
The following contains brief information regarding the newest members of the IFL Hall of Fame.
Nate Fluit (DL)
- Played for the Sioux Falls Storm (2003-2007) of National Indoor Football League and United Indoor Football
- 2006 UIF Defensive Player of the Year
- First-Team All-IFL (2006)
- UIF Western Conference All-Star (2007)
- 2x United Bowl Champion (2006, 2007)
- Ranks 10th all-time in Sioux Falls Storm history in tackles (249.5)
- Ranks 2nd all-time in Sioux Falls Storm history in sacks (62.5) and blocked kicks (23)
- Set Storm single season Sack Record (18.5) in 2006
- Set Storm single season blocked kicks record (10) in 2006.
- #93 retired by the Storm
Carl Sims (WR)
- Played for the Bloomington Extreme (2009), Sioux City Bandits (2010) Billings Outlaws (2010), Sioux Falls Storm (2011-2012), Cedar Rapids Titans (2013-2015), Billings Wolves (2015), Green Bay Blizzard (2015), Spokane Empire (2016-2017) and Nebraska Danger (2017)
- 3x United Bowl Champion (2010, 2011, 2012)
- 2x Intense Conference Champion (2010, 2016)
- 2x United Conference Champion (2011, 2012)
- 2x All-IFL First Team selection (2012, 2013)
- Finished career with 370 receptions, 5,077 yards, 112 TDs

Charlie Bosselman (Owner)
- Owner of the Nebraska Danger (2011-2019)

- Danger reached playoffs 7 of the 9 years of the franchise's existence (7 straight from 2013-2019)
- Danger appeared in 7 straight Conference Championships (including 2018 United & 2019 Intense Semi-Finals)

- 3 straight United Bowl appearances (2013-2015)
- In 9 seasons, the Danger boasted 30 All-IFL selections
- 2x IFL MVP in QB Jameel Sewell (2013, 2015)
- 2x Offensive Rookie of the Year winners in RB Raymond James (2015) and QB Tommy Armstrong Jr. (2019)

The IFL Hall of Fame Class of 2022 will be honored at the Night of Champions on Friday, August 12th, the night before the IFL National Championship game in Henderson, Nevada at the Dollar Loan Center.
