The Indoor Football League has announced its selections for 2022 All-IFL First and Second Teams.
Much like their place at the top of the IFL league standings, the Arizona Rattlers and Frisco Fighters led the way with the Fighters earning a league-high nine (9) players earning All-IFL honors, followed by the Rattlers with eight (8). Arizona had the most First Team representatives with six (6) followed by Frisco with five (5).
Coming in with the second highest number of selections were the Massachusetts Pirates and the Tucson Sugar Skulls, with four (4) players selected from each squad earning All-IFL honors, with the Pirates sporting two (2) on both First and Second teams, and Tucson sporting one (1) on the First Team and three (3) on the Second Team.
The Green Bay Blizzard earned recognition with three (3) representatives, while the Duke City Gladiators, Northern Arizona Wranglers, and Sioux Falls Storm all earned recognition with two (2) representatives apiece. The Bismarck Bucks and Iowa Barnstormers each had one (1) representative.
No members of the Bay Area Panthers, San Diego Strike Force, or Vegas Knight Hawks were selected for All-IFL honors this season.
Surprisingly, the Quad City Steamwheelers, who represent the Eastern Conference in the 2022 IFL National Championship Game, had no All-IFL selections.
According to the IFL, four rookies earned First Team honors and one rookie earned Second Team honors.
