The following is the complete schedule for the 2022 Northwest League Championship Series.
The defending Northwest League/High-A West Champions, the Eugene Emeralds (81-48), seek to defend its NWL Championship crown. After missing the playoffs in 2019, Eugene returned to the Northwest League Championship (then known as the High-A West Championship) in 2021, defeating the Spokane Indians in 4 games (3-1). This season, the Emeralds were the most successful team in the 6-team Northwest League, winning the First-half Division Championship (38-25) and the Second-half Division Championship (43-23).
The Vancouver Canadians (67-62) look to capture their first Northwest League Championship for the first time since their last appearance in 2017, when they defeated Eugene in 4 games (3-1). Vancouver struggled in the First-half of the season, finishing in 4th place (30-33). Due to Eugene winning both halves, the club with the next best full-season winning percentage earns a Championship placement, which worked out well for Vancouver as they finished in second place in the Second-half standings (37-29).
Eugene seeks its eighth championship, having won the Northwest League/High-A West in 1955, 1974, 1975, 1980, 2016, 2018, and 2021. Should the Emeralds win the series, they will tie Spokane and the defunct Yakima Bears for the most NWL Championships.
Vancouver seeks its fifth championship, having won the Northwest League in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2017.
Each round of the NWL Playoffs will appear most recent at the top of the post. Final results will be updated following the conclusion of the games. All game times are listed in the Pacific Timezone (PST). Where applicable, click on the final score to view the NWL's game tracker for the complete box score.
