The Storm have re-signed Gabby Williams to a rest-of-season contract.

Williams re-joins the team after speculation and doubt if she would be able to play this season due to the WNBA's new Prioritization rule, which requires players to prioritize the WNBA over international leagues. It was codified in the 2020 collective bargaining agreement but went into effect for the first time for the 2023 season. Williams was contracted to play with a French team, which did not move its season up to accommodate the new requirements. However, before the May 19th deadline, her contract was suspended, allowing her to maintain eligibility to play in the WNBA.

At the request of G Ivana Dojkic, the Storm have released her from her contract. Dojkic requested her release due to commitments for the upcoming season of competition in Europe.
