1. QB, TJ Edwards (Frisco Fighters)
Passing: 189/305, 2,082 yds, 29 TD, 7 Int
Rushing: 156 att, 719 yds, 42 TD
Edwards has had a stellar season for the Frisco Fighters so far this season. He currently leads the league in passing competitions (189), passing attempts (305), passing yards (2,082), rushing attempts (156), rushing touchdowns (42) and his 719 rushing yards are second in the league but tops for quarterbacks. His 71 total touchdowns also are tops in the league. Edwards is my favorite to win MVP at this moment in time. Not to mention his team being first in the league with a 12–2 record and title hopes on the horizon.
2. QB, EJ Hilliard Jr. (QC Steamwheelers)
Passing: 161/262, 1,956 yds, 45 TD, 7 Int
Rushing: 122 att, 565 yds, 26 TD
Hilliard has had an amazing season and would be number one in any other year but he has been a shadow in the eyes of our number one spot. Hilliard leads the league in passing touchdowns (45), is third in passing yards (1,956), fourth in completions (161), third in passing attempts (262), eigth in rushing attempts (122), fourth in rushing yards (565), and third in rushing touchdowns (26). His 71 total touchdowns are tied for first with TJ Edwards.
3. QB, Drew Powell (Arizona Rattlers)
Passing: 153/221, 1,859 yds, 40 TD, 4 Int
Rushing: 82 att, 466 yds, 24 TD
Our reigning 3-time MVP, Drew Powell, sees himself on the cusp of history to be the first player to win four MVPs in a single career. Powell missed time early in the season making his counting stats much lower than his competitors, but when he is on the field, Powell looks like a beast and it shows. Powell is currently on an 8-game win streak with the Rattlers and has lead them to an 8–2 record when he plays. He is currently sixth in completions (153), ninth in pass attempts (221), FIFTH in passing yards (1,859), THIRD in passing touchdowns (40), and second in least amount of interceptions thrown in more than 100 pass attempts (4). Powell is also tenth in rushing yards (466), and fifth in rushing touchdowns (24). His 64 total TDs rank him fourth in the league.
