That's an outstanding blog. If the attorney or politics things don't work out, you could always become a writer.
We're looking forward to having her down here for a while. Don't worry, I've got something special planned for just Monika and I.

Monika is so spoiled!
You're right. She deserves a special vacation. We're all going to pitch in and make sure this is a vacation she'll never forget. I can't wait to take her to the Cal football game and show her around my campus!

I saw where you just tweeted that you arrived in Crescent City. I wish I had a little sister to take a trip with. Tell Monika to have fun!

we had a really great time at the game. we got to Daly City at 2:30 or so and after saying some hellos to Carla and Amanda, Monika took a nap for three hours. i tried to get her up a little before 6 because i wanted us to leave at about 6:30 for the game. she drove me nuts when she couldn't decide what color shorts or hair clips to wear, then she wanted to brush her hair before we left. we finally got out of there at around 6:35. it all worked out all right. i know a lot of the other students who sit in our section and they treated her like a queen. "can i get you something to drink, Monika?"; "would you like a hot dog, Monika?"; "you're so adorable, Monika!" forget that these people never offered to grab me a soda or hot dog! i think what they really liked was how excited she got when Stanford did well. a couple of the guys (Julie -- Zack was one) high fived her a few times during the game. it was so cute. we didn't get home until after midnight, then we stayed up for a little bit talking. all the way back from Palo Alto to Brian & Carla's house, Monika kept talking about her game experience. i cried with joy and Brian saw me and he started crying a little bit. i could tell she loved it. she even talked about it sunday too! crazy munchkin princess!
