The Gladiators' jubilation was cut short when KiShawn Walker intercepted Kilgo near midfield to give the Strike Force back the ball. Duke City led 17-13 at the end of the third.
Chance Bell's four-yard scamper around the left side and into the end zone put the Strike Force up early in the fourth quarter. The extra point try was blocked and returned by Tamar Hart of the Gladiators for a defensive two-point conversion. Kilgo was promptly intercepted by Justic'e King and San Diego was back in business with just under 11 minutes remaining. Van put the Strike Force back in the lead with his second rushing touchdown of the game; this of one yard up the middle. Davis' two-point attempt pass sailed into the stands.
