Knight Hawks 55, Wranglers 45

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - The Vegas Knight Hawks clinched a playoff berth tonight as they came away with a 55-45 win over the Northern Arizona Wranglers at Findlay Toyota Center.
The Knight Hawks are the second Western Conference team to earn a trip to the postseason. The Bay Area Panthers clinched two weeks ago, and then clinched the top spot in the conference last night with a 50-28 win over the Duke City Gladiators. Vegas can clinch the number two seed with a win next week over the Tucson Sugar Skulls at home and a loss by the San Diego Strike Force who take on the Panthers at home.
Vegas moves to 10-5 with the win, while the Wranglers fall to 9-6. Northern Arizona won the first meeting between the teams, 58-52, at Henderson, Nevada. The Wranglers still lead the overall series 5-2 despite suffering their first home loss to the Knight Hawks.
Additional details of the game were not immediately available.
The Knight Hawks finish the regular season at home against the Tucson Sugar Skulls on July 20 for a 6:05 p.m. kickoff. The Wranglers close out their regular season with a visit to the Duke City Gladiators on July 21 with kickoff set for 2:05 p.m. Times listed are pacific daylight time.
