Angi's Take
The Blazers have put together a pair of consecutive wins over teams who are considered serious playoff contenders; the Cavaliers (by 19 points) and Mavericks (by 21). They take their talents on the road against a Clippers team which possesses talent, yet has not seemed to put it together. The keys in each of the Blazers wins have been defense, rebounding and simply putting together two full 48-minute efforts. Aldridge has played up to expectations, Wesley Matthews has arguably been the most consistent Blazer through five games. Lillard has turned around a slow start to average 22.5 points over the past two games. The Clippers feature the familiar lineup of Griffin, Paul and Jordan. They also feature new additions Redick, Barnes and Hawes. The later was a target of the Blazers over the off season before they signed former Clipper Kaman (Blazers fans are not complaining about that one at all). Former Blazer Crawford is one of the most effective scorers off the bench. Matchup to watch: Damian Lillard vs. Chris Paul.
