Nov. 14 -- According to Portland Trail Blazers sources, power forward LaMarcus Aldridge is battling an upper respiratory illness and is listed as "doubtful' for the team's Nov. 15 game against the Brooklyn Nets. Here is the tweet from Blazers team beat reporter Casey Holdahl: Aldridge leads the Blazers with 21.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. He is also averaging a team-high 35.1 minutes per game. Aldridge missed 13 games last season due to injury, including Portland's home contest against the Nets last season on Feb. 26. The Blazers clobbered Brooklyn in that game, 124-80, while Aldridge, Joel Freeland, Meyers Leonard and Thomas Robinson were all sidelined with various injuries. If the L-Train is unable to play against the Nets, Freeland, Robinson or Dorell Wright could start in his place. The Blazers already will be without forward Nicolas Batum, who will miss his third straight game due to a right knee bone contusion. Second-year man Allen Crabbe has started in Batum's place the past two games; both wins for the Blazers. To comment, please login or register. - MKM

we'll have to see what happens between now and then. often doubtful the day before can turn into questionable or probable the next day.

On the bright side, it's probably only for one game. Freeland should start with Kaman and Robinson coming in off the bench.

This is no good. At least he won't miss more than a game or so. I hope they upgrade him.
