ANGI'S TAKE
Rudy Gay had his way for the Kings in their Halloween win over the Blazers, going for a game-high 40 points, including 11-13 from the foul line, and pulling down 8 rebounds. He will be a nightmare match up for which ever Blazer gets the defensive assignment on him, provided that he plays. Though listed as questionable, Cousins is having a tremendous season and has emerged as one of the top centers in the Western Conference. The shorthanded Blazers will also have their hands full with him. Collison, who dished out 8 assists on Oct. 31, is solid at the point and actually matches up well with Lillard. Thompson and Williams provide a formidable one-two punch at power forward, primarily on the defensive end. Casspi scored 10 off the bench for the Kings in the first match up. Despite the presences of Thompson and Williams, Aldridge could be primed for a big game against the Kings for the Blazers. He is on his way to his fourth all-star game, and scored 32 points in the Blazers loss to the Grizzlies while going up against Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol. Kaman could be a key in this game, perhaps on both ends of the court. Lillard registered 22 points and 7 dimes in the first contest. Matthews, who seems to pick up a minor injury in each game, could be the real difference maker if he can continue to hit his shots while holding McLemore in check. If Leonard and McCollum provide solid contributions off the bench, the Blazers could take this game. The Kings won the rebounding battle, 48-39 in the first game, so the Blazers will have to counter that in order to win. The Blazers also will need to shoot at least 45 percent in order to claim the victory. Matchup to watch: Darren Collison vs. Damian Lillard.

Congratulations to Wesley Matthews who, after exactly four-and-a-half seasons with the Blazers, surpassed Terry Porter on Jan. 17 to become the all-time Blazers leader in three point field field goals. After making seven three against the Grizzlies, Wesley now has 778 makes. Porter now stands in second place with 773.
