March 20 - Blazers guard Wesley Matthews took some time out to make an instagram post to participate in teammate Damian Lillard's #4BarFriday contest.
Matthews keeps the spirit of the contest by posting his own rap:
"I mean it when I tell you that I miss this
But this is God's plan and the return will be relentless
Thank you for your thoughts, for your prayers, your well wishes
Ironman 2 is coming soon- be sure to witness"
His post came with the following caption: "Lol #4barFriday #bored @damianlillard #imnotshaving"
Matthews tore his left Achilles tendon in the fourth quarter of the Blazers game against the Mavericks on March 5. He had surgery on March 11 and will miss the remainder of the season. He was averaging 15.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals this season.
