Hey there. I know Stotts signed a "multi-year" extension at the end of last season. It is my understanding that the extension was for this year and two guaranteed seasons beyond.
I had heard something about Brooks possibly being available. I am not sure how he would be as a Blazers coach. I do not see the Blazers making a change at the end of this year. Next season, probably only if the team misses the playoffs.

I'd like to ask, what do you think of Stotts? For my opinion, I'm not sure about him. He doesn't seem like a complete coach. Just when my opinion of him improves, he does something to lower my opinion of his coaching abilities. In the end I guess I'd say it just doesn't seem like he will ever lead us to a championship. |

I'd like to ask, what do you think of Stotts? I am just not very sure. I think he still lacks a lot of things that it will take to take this team to an elite level. Coaching defense is one of them. I think the additions of certain players are what elevated the defense, not anything Stotts did from a coaching standpoint. Blake and Kaman came in being able to play both sides of the ball, and guys like Freeland, Leonard and McCollum have become better defenders. That has made a world of difference. I wish I could feel more optimistic about the future with Stotts. I like him in interviews for the most part, but it just seems like there are periods where he seems lost. |

i would just add that i think the Blazers are committed to Stotts for at least next season and likely through the duration of his contract.
