Why would we challenge this. Is Hohensee even watching this game?

i guess the snow was not meant to fall on the field. that would have been really cool. I mean, I can understand why. Probably take too long to clean the fake snow off the turf. Still, a bit of a bummer. Who wouldn't want to see an AFL field have snow on it? Looks awesome in the NFL/NCAA, and crazy to see on a CFL field....

Man, special teams on the point after have been a disaster. Can't blame the kicker for that....

So if it's not a missed PAT, its a blown PAT....

This is fun to watch. I love the teddy bear toss. I got a stuffed penquin when I was you from Toys for Tots. It is such a great thing they do. Now I want to see snow! that is awesome, Heidi. i've always liked the idea of that event.

Is this a kicking promotion or a tryout?

i guess the snow was not meant to fall on the field. that would have been really cool. From what I've heard and from what I know about how the turf works...they really couldn't have done it. 1) Can't do much in the stands for liability purposes. 2) Can't do anything that sticks on the field because: a) everyone is only wearing turf shoes, so you're going to have everyone pulling every muscle in their legs, or wearing cleats and destroying the turf b) the turf would get waterlogged and super heavy and then leak all over the place when they roll it up c) it would still damage the turf. Can't do anything more than a few flakes here and there. It's still more than anyone has done for Christmas in July and, in fairness, it's not like it snows much in Portland in December anyway.
