Yeah, I thought that was a pretty savvy addition for athlete culture. To me, the whole place looks awesome. Some parts of it look like Darth Vader had input on the design. Not sure where the Death Ray is, but I bet its pointed at Seattle!

are you sure it's not pointed at Corvallis?!
i think it's a little much. wouldn't the guys have to pay for their haircuts? i think even a free haircut would violate ncaa rules.

I'm sure there is some loophole that is being exploited. Our lawyers are very good. Frohnmayer started a very good tradition of having better legal knowledge than anyone else that has served the University well over the years!
But no, common misconception, the Huskies are by far the more hated team by Duck fans. They voted us out of a Rose Bowl in 1948, which started a feud that never got any better.

Kasey is pissed that the Huskies beat Stanford last year.

they should use some of that legal knowledge to help out their law school; it really should be ranked higher than it is!

You've got a point, but it's just not a priority for the university like Science, Athletics, Journalism, and Music. Those are really the hallmarks of Oregon, and as essentially a business, you make a product that sells. Traditionally, its very difficult to compete against the East Coast elite for law schools. In spite of that, the U of O has proven on many occasions the value of retaining good legal representation.

well, i have eliminated the law school from my consideration. Harvard is ranked #1, Yale is #2 and Stanford is #3.
i still haven't decided, but we've got a top notch program which i am still considering.

Good luck! That's a big choice, but I don't think you could go wrong with any of those schools!

Harvard and Yale are not in the running, but Columbia at #4 was for a while. it's recently been eliminated. right now it's down to three -- not telling yet!

Ooohh, a master of suspense! Well, I'm sure your selection will be fantastic and that there will be plenty of reading to do when you get there! And hopefully enough free time to talk some Blazers.

yeah. in some ways, it will be easier. my actual workload will be a little less since i'm not studying in two other areas. of course, that just means i'll work all that much harder on my law degree!
