My Summer Vacation

As many of you know, I just got back from my graduation summer vacation. I started out on July 6 heading to Lincoln, Nebraska to see my grandparents and family from my dad's side. A week later I went to Albuquerque, New Mexico to see my grandparents and cousins on my mom's side. After a week there, I visited my dad's brother, my Uncle Mike and Aunt Amy and some cousins in Huntington Beach, California for a few days. Then Julie (SurferGirl) took me up the coast to Oxnard where she worked on teaching me how to surf for a couple of days. Finally, I got to go to San Francisco to see my bother, sister-in-law and niece (she's gotten so big!). Here are some photos from the trip.

It's crazy how much you look like your aunt. Definitely can see the family resemblance.

My relatives live closer to both Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm, but my cousin, David, works at Six Flags during the summers so he got us some great deals. We had such a great time. Katie is my aunt's niece and I didn't really know her until this trip. We got to hang out a little which was great.

Roswell was fun. They really take the whole alien thing and run with it. Since my cousin works there he got us some good deals and we had a great time.

Its funny that you said that about my aunt because she's actually my dad's brother's wife and we're not related by blood at all I see the resemblance of you talking about though.

Seems like you did a great job of packing a whole lot of sightseeing into a short period. Sounds like someone I know who happens to be related to you! I'm glad you had fun and glad that I got to hang with you for a couple of days!
