No. 52 pick Pittsburgh Steelers select: George Pickens WR, Georgia
Quick thoughts: Pickens was a solid WR for the national champion Bulldogs and he'll be a solid reciever for Kenny Pickett.

Pick No. 74 Atlanta Falcons select: Desmond Ridder QB, Cincinnati
And a QB finally goes off the board. From what I saw Ridder wasn't exactly all that special at Cincinnati and was more of a game manager mediocre kinda guy. I know Kurt Warner came out recently and said that he thought Ridder wasn't all that special either. I'm shocked to see Malik Willis still on the board.

Pick No. 83 Philadelphia Eagles select: Nakobe Dean LB, Georgia
Quick thoughts: Dean was the leader of the now famed Georgia Bulldog defense that won the national championship this past year. If not for injuries, he would have been a first round pick, and arguably should have been a first round pick anyway. Considering how good of a player is, Dean may end up being the steal of the draft. Fantastic pick by the Eagles!

No. 86 pick Tennessee Titans select (after trade with Las Vegas Raiders): Malik Willis QB, Liberty
Quick thoughts: I would argue that Malik Willis is the best QB in this draft class. I watched him play numerous times at Liberty, and my thought was always "this guy will be better once he has NFL caliber players to play with. It is likely that none of Willis' teammates will end up playing NFL or even USFL ball. Despite all that, Willis came into the draft as a top prospect, or at least everyone on the outside of the league was led to believe that. Regardless, he has a big arm and is elusive. He is similar to fellow past Titans, the late Steve McNair, and Vince Young. Considering Tanehill's poor performance in the playoffs, upgrading at QB is a smart decision by the Titans.

No. 94 pick Carolina Panthers select: (after trade with Kansas City Chiefs): Matt Corral QB, Ole Miss
Quick thoughts: If not for tearing his ACL during the Sugar Bowl, Corral would have been taken higher. He balled out at Ole Miss for Lane Kiffin's pass heavy scheme, and with Corral being drafted, the Panthers have officially taken themselves out of the Baker Mayfield conversation.
No. 99 pick Cleveland Browns select: David Bell WR, Purdue
Quick thoughts: Bell was a great WR for the Boilermakers and with the Browns being receiver needy, this was a great pick by them.

With the Seahawks not taking a QB in Rounds 1-3, and the other potential suitors having taken QBs, the Sehawks are now the favorite IMO to get Baker Mayfield. Otherwise, he'll probably get cut at some point.

No. 123 pick Los Angeles Chargers select: Isiah Spiller RB, Texas A&M
Quick thoughts: Spiller was a great RB for the Aggies and I think he'll be a great weapon in the backfield and in the receiving game for the Chargers.

No. 125 pick Miami Dolphins select (after trade with Pittsburgh Steelers): Erik Ezukanma WR, Texas Tech
Quick thoughts: Ezukama was the best player on the Red Raiders by a wide margin, and I think he'll be a great weapon for Tua.

No. 131 pick Tennessee Titans select: Hassan Haskins RB, Michigan
Quick thoughts: Haskins WAS the offense for the Michigan Wolverines. He'll be a fantastic backup for Derek Henry, and if King Henry gets the injury bug again, Haskins would be a solid starter, at least IMO.

No. 144 pick Washington Commanders select: Sam Howell QB, North Carolina
Quick thoughts: There was a time when Howell was thought to be a future number 1 pick. He had a down year because of bad WR talent last year and here he is taken in the 5th round. In the event of either injury or poor play which is likely with Carson Wentz, Howell should come in and contribute. It won't surprise me if Howell becomes one of the steals of the draft.
