Haha umm totally not game related but bacon, eggs, pork sausages and Turkish bread. In game news just catching up and can someone please tell me what the worth or Barton is. Just don't rate him. Count me in! Plenty here for all of you but it might be a lil cold by the time you all get here.... Nice lead for the Blazers going into the half. |

i'm pretty satisfied with the first half. they cooled off a little and we won the quarter by four points. i'll definitely take that.

Barton is a high energy guy. He can provide a spark but he can be very inconsistent. Here is what Kasey wrote about him in her player capsules before the season started: "

The Thrill saw action in half the team's games after having played in 73 during his rookie season. He is capable of providing instant offense and plenty of highlight reel content. However, he is still raw and learning to play under control. He has lacked defensive prowess, but said in last season's exit interviews that over the summer he wanted to work on becoming a lockdown defender. He runs the wing well and provides a different pace for the team when he's on the court. He likely will compete with CJ McCollum for minutes behind Matthews and his minutes may be affected if and when Stotts goes to a three-guard rotation with Lillard, Matthews and Steve Blake. " |

Thanks for that Angi. Maybe I'm too harsh on him this early in his career but just one of those players I don't see really having much input to what is an always improving team.

I think he is still enough of a question mark that we could see a trade involving him for draft picks. There probably would be more involved in a trade like that though. |
