Breakdown
BUCKS
Bismarck is right in the middle of the IFL standings. They Bucks right down to the final minutes of the fourth quarter and were driving late in the game when an interception ended their hopes for a win. They'll look to bounce back with a win on the road against the Panthers, who have struggled for three straight games, dropping all three. The Bucks' two wins of the season have both come at the expense of the Green Bay Blizzard, who are the league's lone winless team coming into this one. Jayru Campbell has gotten the start at quarterback for the past two games. on the season he is completing 58 percent of his passes for 350 yards with nine touchdowns and five picks. The Bucks are a solid rushing team with Campbell gaining 51 yards per game with three scores, and Benjamin Glines with 24 yards per contest. The latter also leads the team with 132 yards, while Edgar Allen Poe, Jr. has 131 yards and four grabs Rob Brown and Alexis Rosario also are over 110 yards each with Rosario grabbing four scores. Romon Morris and Patrick Macon lead the defense with 15 and 11 tackles, respectively. Chase Allbaugh has been reliable as the team's kicker through four games.
PANTHERS
Bay Area has dropped three straight by an average margin of nearly 26 points. A trip back home to face the 2-2 Bucks might be just what the doctor ordered as the panthers look for their second win in franchise history. With the season only a quarter over, there is plenty of time to bounce back and put together some wins. The Panthers are Scoring 28.3 points per game (13th in the IFL) and are allowing 46.0 (12th). Improvements in both areas could give them a chance here. Cory Murphy should be expected to start at quarterback. he comes in completing 53 percent of his throws with three touchdowns and an interception. He missed a game-and-a-half with injury. Joe Newman, more of a threat on the ground, is waiting in the wings. Duane Gary leads the team with five rushing touchdowns. Murphy and Newman have three touchdowns on the ground apiece.
