Breakdown
PANTHERS
Bay Area was the first IFL team to be eliminated from the playoffs. That doesn't mean the Panthers can't have an effect on the playoff race. Defeating the Knight Hawks could all but put an end to their playoff hopes as well. The Panthers can play spoiler in their final two games following this one, against the Massachusetts Pirates and Tucson Sugar Skulls; both at home. They last in the league in both scoring (28.5 points per game) and defense (55.0). Vincent Espinoza is completing 51 percent his throws for 446 yards and five touchdowns and six picks. If the Panthers look to the potential future, they may look to give Isaac Hurd a chance to see what he can do at the position. Duane Gary leads the team with 381 yards and 13 touchdowns rushing. Daniel Crowell, Jr. has 35 catches for 431 yards with eight touchdowns. Isaiah Thomas and Dre'Son Dorton will also be featured in the passing game. Derik Calhoun leads the team with 69 tackles and seven tackles for loss. Jeffrey Allison comes in with 36.5 tackles and a sack, and Khalil Young has 30.5 tackles. Stevie Artique has been solid as the teams' kicker all season.
KNIGHT HAWKS
Vegas is hanging on it's last thread in the playoff race, but still has a relatively decent prospect of seeing the postseason. The Knight Hawks are going to need some help, but the key to their season will to winning their last two games and see the Duke City Gladiators and/or drop their last two and three games, respectively. The Knight Hawks are scoring 35.0 points per game (11th) and are allowing 38.2 (seventh). Cameron Dukes seems to be the quarterback to finish the season as the starter. He has completed 61 percent of his throws for 641 yards with 18 touchdowns and four picks. He also has rushed for six touchdowns while starting the team's last three contests. Davonte Sapp-Lynch made an impression last week in his first game with the Knight Hawks. Dez Epps leads the team with 444 yards to go with eight touchdowns. Jordan McCray and KD Cannon have 406 and 309 yards, respectively, and combine for eight scoring grabs. Jericho Flowers' 61 tackles leads the defense, to go along with a [pair of interceptions. Mister Harriel has three picks with 34.5 tackles. Kicker Nolan Kohorst has been a bight spot for the Knight Hawks.
