Breakdown
WRANGLERS
After dropping the season opener, Northern Arizona reeled off two straight wins. Last week the Wranglers ran into a pride of Panthers in the Bay Area. A lackluster offensive effort led to a tally of just 13 points. Getting back into the win column will go a long way to restoring some confidence. They score 35.8 points per game and allow a league-best 35.0. Garrett Kettle completes 54 percent of his passes for 573 yards, 11 touchdowns and four picks. He also has rushed for 241 yards and three scores. Ramaud Chiaokhiao-Bowman has been a bright spot with his 19 catches for 270 yards and seven touchdowns. Jarrod Ware, Jr. adds 174 yards, and Ryan Wisniewski has 149 yards and four scores. Kishawn Walker's 18 tackles and three interceptions pace the Wranglers' defense. Dorian Walker and Tramond Lofton have 15.5 and 15 tackles respectively, with Lofton adding a team-high three sacks to the mix. Brandon Fischer comes in with an average of 48.8 yards per kickoff.
KNIGHT HAWKS
Vegas evened its record to 2-2 on the young season with a solid win over a revamped Duke City Gladiators' squad last week. The Knight Hawks will look to use that momentum in an attempt to earn their third win over the season. They are scoring 46.0 points per game and allowing 38.8. Joe Mancuso had himself a night against the Gladiators; completing 19 of 27 throws for 222 yards, five touchdowns and two touchdowns, while rushing for another two scores. Davonte Sapp-Lynch has 141 yards and five touchdowns on the ground entering this contest. Quentin Randolph is the team's top receiver with 19 receptions for 279 yards and six scores. Caleb Holley has 15 grabs for 181 yards and six touchdowns, and Frank Brown adds 13 catches for 162 yards and a score. Jacquez Jackson leads the defense with 21.5 tackles, 2.5 sacks and an interception. Javon Jackson and Gabriel McCoy ass 12.5 and 11.5 tackles, respectively. Stevie Artique averages 42.6 yards per kickoff.
