BREAKDOWN
Tucson has been a bit of an enigma this season, but is still in a playoff position in the crowded Western Conference. The Sugar Skulls nearly found themselves on the winning side of a dogfight against the conference-leading Bay Area Panthers last week, but came out two points short. Quarterback Ramone Atkins and running back Mike Jones lead a talented offense which may run into a Knight Hawks defense with a chip on its shoulder after being blown out last week by the Arizona Rattlers at Phoenix. The Sugar Skulls are the only team without a bye for the remainder of the season. However, they play four of their last six games at home. They average 41.9 points per game (ninth in IFL) and allow 39.5 (third).

BREAKDOWN
Vegas is out to prove it is playoff worthy and this will be their first test in that quest. All six of the Knight Hawks' remaining games are winnable, though they play four of their last five on the road. With a veteran quarterback such as Daquan Neal, one has to wonder if the Knight Hawks are ever truly out of playoff contention. They do, however, hold the worst conference winning percentage; the top playoff tiebreaker. Quentin Randolph's 551 receiving yards are good for fourth in the league. A Vegas win could go a long way to creating a true rivalry between these teams as it would be the first win by the Knight Hawks over the Sugar Skulls. They score 43.9 points per game (eighth in IFL) and allow 44.6 (sixth).
