BREAKDOWN
San Diego is flying high after winning it's first-ever game over the perennial Western Conference favorite Arizona Rattlers last week. The Strike Force are enjoying the best start of their IFL tenure. At 3-0, they possess a high-powered offense and a defense much improved over last season. One of the main differences between this season and past years is that they are finishing games which previously would get away from them in the fourth quarter. Nate Davis, the league's top passer, went down to injury early in last week's win. In his place, Rudy Johnson stepped in and engineered the offense to the win. Johnson, who also was with the Strike Force last season, completed four of seven passes for 86 yards with a pair of touchdowns . He also has 43 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Chance Bell has rushed for 87 yards and four touchdowns on the year and had three of those scores last week. Arthur Jackson leads the team with 11 catches for 153 yards and five touchdowns, and Jordan Kress has seven grabs for 75 yards and three scores. Sherrod Williams' 18 tackles and one sack lead the team. Justic'e King adds 14.5 tackles and two interceptions; including a pick-six last week. Defensive back KiShawn Walker has signed with the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos. Stevie Artigue recorded a deuce in last week's win. The Strike Force score 52.0 points per game (first) and allow 44.0 (10th).

BREAKDOWN
Bay Area's defense of their 2023 IFL championship has been successful thus far, but this contest against their California cousins could provide the biggest challenge yet. The Panthers boast the league's second-best defense, but they're facing the top offense in the league. This sets up a recipe for a close matchup here in week 6. The Panthers offense versus the Strike Force defense provides another similar comparison. By all accounts, this contest would make Game of the Week honors nearly each week of the season. Daquan Neal is the starter, though Felix Harper played much of last week's contest. Neal completes 67 percent of his throws for 352 yards with six touchdowns and no picks, while Harper completes 63 percent of his passes for 106 yards with two interceptions and no picks. Both are prolific rushers who have each scored three touchdowns on the ground. Shane Simpson's five rushing touchdowns lead the team. Pierre Wiliams comes in with 15 receptions for 173 yards and a touchdown, while JT Stokes has 12 catches for 118 yards and two scores. Jazeric Peterson has caught seven balls for 113 yards and three scores. Antwon Kincade is fourth in the league with 23 tackles and an interception. Tyler Watson adds 14 tackles. Datona Jackson and Tevaughn Grant have three and 2.5 sacks, respectively. Craig Peterson averages 46.4 yards on his kickoffs and has two deuces. The Panthers average 46.3 points per game (fifth) and allow 32.0 (second).
