Overview
The following is the 2024 schedule for the Vegas Knight Hawks.
This Year will mark the 15th complete season (16th overall) of the Indoor Football League. The league is coming off a 2023 season which saw the second-year Bay Area Panthers claim the IFL National Championship with a 51-41 win over the Sioux Falls Storm. It marked the sixth time in as many seasons the championship (formerly referred to as the United Bowl) was won by a different team. It's also the second year in a row when a second-year team claimed the title after winning just one game during its inaugural season.
The IFL added two teams -- the Jacksonville Sharks and San Antonio Gunslingers -- both of whom moved over from the National Arena League. The Bismarck Bucks remain dormant for the second straight season as they presumably work on meeting worker's compensation procedures as required by North Dakota state law. The Columbus Wild Dogs announced their franchise in 2019, but have postponed their debut now for yet another season. The league is broken up into two conferences; the Western and the Eastern. The Gunslingers will join the Western and the Sharks will join the Eastern. The conference alignment appears below.
Each IFL team will play a 16-game schedule over 19 weeks with opening weekend being March 16-17. Each team has three bye weeks which occur at various points throughout the season. The set up means some teams will play eight home games and seven away games. The remaining teams will play seven home games and eight road games. Eight teams, four from each conference, will make the playoffs, culminating with the conference champions meeting in the IFL National Championship Game in August at the Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, Nevada.
Vegas went 5-10 last season in a tie for sixth place in the Western Conference. The Knight Hawks missed the playoffs for the second of their two seasons in the IFL. They play their home games at Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, Nevada. Their byes come in weeks 1, 4 and 11. Click for the entire 2024 IFL Week-by-Week Schedule.
Several (if not all) games will be broadcast locally on the radio in team markets. Most IFL games will be broadcast live on the league's official YouTube Channel. Per an agreement announced last season, select games will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network (those games will be noted in the schedule when those games are announced). SCtoC will provide previews each game, as well as recaps of games upon their conclusions. Those previews will be posted on the page of the home team on this site. In the schedule below. Home games are noted in bold red. Times and dates are subject to change. All times are pacific. Where applicable, click for SCtoC's original recap of the game.
