BREAKDOWN
Tulsa seemed to be on a roll until last week when it ran into a brick wall against the Frisco Fighters. The Oilers were routed by the Eastern Conference leaders and are looking to get back on track against a team which, on paper, would seem to be a similar opponent. The last time these teams met, the Oilers won their first game in franchise history, and they did it convincingly. In odd scheduling last season, these teams played twice last season with both games being at Tulsa. This marks the first trip to Moline for the Oilers, and they intend to make it count. Daniel Smith has been solid for the 2-2 Oilers this season. He is completing 65 percent of his throws for 131.5 yards per game with 10 touchdowns and a pair of picks. Smith also rushes for 26 yards per game to go along with four touchdowns. Jarrod Ware, Jr. Is a solid rusher/receiver who will be making his third appearance for the team. Alexis Rosario leads the receiving corps with 52 yards per game to go with six touchdown grabs. Joshua Crockett comes in with 37.5 yards and two touchdowns. The defense is paced by the 22.5 tackles of Jordan Ware and 22 from Tre Harvey. Romon Morris adds 18.5 tackles and a pair of interceptions. Noah Lyles is the IFL co-leader in sacks with four. Michael Hall averages 49.1 yards per kickoff and has two deuces in his two games with the team. The Oilers score 38.0 points per game (12th) and allow 40.5 (seventh).

BREAKDOWN
Quad City showed last week that it has been overlooked as a contender with an excellent performance in an 11-point win over the previously undefeated Massachusetts Pirates. The Steamwheelers are more prevalent on defense, though they are giving up a net minus-two points per contest. A win over the Oilers puts them right in the thick of the early playoff race in the Eastern Conference. This contest against the Oilers could be a jump start for the Steamwheelers, who are out on the road for three of their next four games of the season. After Mike Irwin started last week at quarterback, the team went back to Judd Erickson, who had started the first three games. He completes 54 percent of his passes for 117 yards per game with nine touchdowns and three interceptions. He also has two touchdowns on the ground. Erickson is projected to start, but Irwin could see some action if he struggles. Edward Vander averages 43.5 yards to go with seven touchdowns on the ground. Keyvan Rudd and Jarrod Harrington accumulate 37.5 and 36.8 receiving yards per game, respectively, and each has three touchdown grabs. Malik Duncan leads the team with 16.5 tackles and Keshaun Moore has 16 tackles and 1.5 sacks. Jaylin Swan adds 13 tackles. Kyle Kaplan averages 46.9 yards per kickoff along with a deuce. The Steamwheelers average 38.3 points per game (11th) and allow 40.3 (sixth).
