Breakdown
BLIZZARD
After claiming the first two wins of the season, Green Bay suffered a setback with last week's 18-point loss to the Quad City Steamwheelers. Still, the Blizzard Seem to be on the right track to salvage their season. Breaking their six-game losing streak to the Bucks is a good next step. The Blizzard are last in the league in points scored per game (29.6), but second best in points allowed (33.4). Jack Sheehan has been solid since taking over as starting quarterback. He is completing 53 percent of his throws for 707 yards, 15 touchdowns and three picks. He also has rushed for four touchdowns. Toren Young is a solid back with a pair of rushing scores in his three games. The Blizzard have a trio of talented receivers. Keshaun Taylor leads the group with 23 catches for 240 yards and seven scores. Dez Stewart, in just four games, has 20 grabs for 234 yards and six touchdowns. Shaquon Curenton adds 173 yards and two touchdowns. James Brown and Momodu Mbye pace the defense, but there are plenty of other playmakers on the roster. Brown has 9.5 tackles for loss to go with 55 tackles, and Mason Gray has a pair of interceptions. Nick Jaworski is the Blizzard's kicker.
BUCKS
Bismarck alternated wins with losses the the first six weeks of the season, but lost its second straight last week against the visiting San Diego Strike Force. Over the past two seasons, the Bucks have won six straight over the Blizzard. Extending that streak could get them back on track. They are 10th in the IFL with 35.4 points per game, and ninth in points allowed (42.3). Jayru Campbell comes in completing 54 percent of his passes for 690 yards with 15 touchdowns and a half-dozen picks. He also leads the team with 268 yards and eight scores on the ground. Benjamin Glines, in addition to his three rushing touchdowns, is also effective in the passing game with 189 yards and five touchdowns. Edgar Allen Poe, Jr. leads the team with 251 yards (off 21 catches) and seven scores. Alexis Rosario had 257 yards and five touchdowns. Rob Brown and John Brunner also figure into the passing attack. Robert Brown and Ramon Morris are standouts on defense. Morris owns four interceptions on the season. Ch'aim Smith has 6.5 tackles for loss and a sack. Keep a lookout for Jeff Branch and Reginald Gantt; the latter of which has two picks. The Bucks kicker is Chase Allbaugh.
