Breakdown
BLIZZARD
By the end of the season, Green Bay will play a league-high 16 games this season. How they finish these final four games will determine the Blizzard's 2021 playoff fate. They stand at 5-5 and would qualify if the playoffs started today. However, the Blizzard face a tough road in their final four games of the season. Following this game against the Bucks in Bismarck, they will battle the Massachusetts Pirates, Frisco Fighters and defending champion Sioux Falls Storm. Brook Bolles has started the last three games for Green Bay, but with some mixed results. Look for him to get the nod again this week, though the team's original starter, Damion May, could be waiting in the wings. Kerrion Moore is the team's best option as a rusher, and Keshaun Taylor and Kezlow Smith lead a talented core of receivers. Add to that Treyvon Saunders, one of the most prolific kick returners in the IFL. On defense, Diondre Wallace, Momodu Mbye, Bakari Triggs and Malik Reaves are players on which to keep an eye. Reaves leads the team with five interceptions.
BUCKS
Bismarck is in a similar position as Green Bay. They are both at .500, though they have played two more games. The Bucks are looking for the season sweep of four games over the Blizzard this season, as they have already won the first three matchups, including both at Green Bay. The Bucks have an excellent chance to clinch a playoff spot over the coming weeks, especially with wins over the Blizzard and next week against the Iowa Barnstormers. The Bucks have a two-pronged approach to the quarterback position over the past three games. Veteran Caleb Lewis typically starts and does the lion's share of the passing, while rookie and former Alabama signal caller Kelly Bryant comes in more frequently in rushing situations, including QB draws and sweeps. Justin Rankin is a bullish runner who can be relied upon to get the touch yard and has 14 rushing scores. Raheem Harvey, J.T. Stokes and Mike Carrigan are the threats at receiver. Darreon Jackson and Deion Carter lead the team in tackles, and Zuril Hendrick comes in with three interceptions.
