Breakdown
STORM
Sioux Falls is on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoff picture, but the Storm are in a position to overtake one of the two teams ahead of them in the playoff race. This game against the Barnstormers could be a turning point and a win could position them to win a potential tiebreaker (the IFL has yet to announcing its tiebreaker procedures). The Storm score 40.6 points per game (seventh) and allow 41.6 (11th). Dalton Sneed comes in completing 65 percent of his pass for 460 yards with a dozen touchdowns and a single interception. He also has four rushing scores. Nate Chavious is one of the top backs in the IFL. He is third in the league with 436 yards and fourth with 14 touchdowns. Chavious also is a threat in the return game with his 18.1 yards per return with a score. Carlos Thompson, Jr. leads the team in receiving with 417 yards and 10 touchdowns, while Aaron Dilworth has 347 yards and six scoring grabs. Marquis Hendrix leads the team with 63 tackles, along with 3.5 sacks. Undraez Lilly leads the league with 7.5 sacks. TaCorian Darden adds a team-leading three picks to go along with 55 tackles. Sawyer Petre is one of the better kickers in the IFL.
BARNSTORMERS
Iowa should come into this came confidently after winning three of its last four games, and have the Eastern Conference's only undefeated home record. The Barnstormers sit in third place, which puts them in a playoff spot, but if they can get a win here they could potentially move into second and a possible home playoff game. The Barnstormer are scoring 40.6 points per game (seventh) and are allowing 41.6 (11th). Darius James-James Peterson comes in with the fourth-most passing yards at 1,329 to go along with 21 touchdowns and 11 picks. He also leads all quarterbacks with 52.0 rushing yards per game to go along with 10 touchdowns. Antonio Wimbush can be a power in the rushing game. Kentrez Bell, Dom McNeil and Alvin Bailey all have 300 receiving yards. Bell leads the group with 10 touchdowns, while McNeil comes in with seven. Ian McBorrough and Jordan Baldwin lead the defense with 72 and 61 tackles, respectively. Dave Calderon has 3.5 sacks to go along with 20 tackles, and J.R. Stevens is tied for first in the league with four interceptions. Justic'e King adds three picks. Gabriel Rui has made a name for himself for consistency as Iowa's kicker.
