BREAKDOWN
Duke City is the lone IFL team still looking for its first win of the season. The Gladiators gave the San Antonio Gunslingers all they had last week in a high-scoring three-point loss at home. It was a rough result given that the Gunslingers scored on their last possession in the final minute to claim the win. The Gladiators' 53 points, their highest total of the season, should give the team some momentum heading into this game as the strike Force allow the fourth-most points in the IFL. This is the first of four road games before they are at home for four straight. Veteran Joe Mancuso has taken over the reins at quarterback for the Gladiators and had some positive results. He went 11 of 18 for 118 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions against the Gunslingers. He rushed seven times for 91 yards and two more scores. Jeff Carr is the lead running back with a pair of touchdowns, but the team activated IFL stalwart Justin Stockton from IR this week. Gourney Sloan had five touchdown catches, while Gregory Dent, Jr. had four touchdown grabs and Tyron Laughinghouse adds two. LaQuvionte Gonzalez and Devanaire Concliffe should also figure into the passing game. Aaron Jackson leads the team with 31.5 tackles, an interception and three tackles for loss. Tamar Hart has three sacks to go with 21 tackles, and Trevaughn Claybourne comes in with 23.5 takedowns. Ernesto Lacayo averages 54.1 yards on kickoffs and has multiple deuces this season. The Gladiators score 37.5 points per game (14th) and allow 45.8 (10th).

BREAKDOWN
San Diego finds itself in a three-way tie for third place in the Western Conference with the Northern Arizona Wranglers and Arizona Rattlers. The Strike force would like nothing more to pick a win and, potentially make some progress in the playoff race. While they've dropped three of their last four games, they have lost those three contests by a combined eight points and their opponents are a combined 19-2 heading into this week. One thing to avoid is letting this become a trap game against a winless opponent. The Strike Force are finishing May with two straight at home. Nate Davis is one of the top passers in the IFL. He is second in the league with 30 touchdown passes and 169.7 yards per game through the air. He also is completing 60 percent of his throws. Chance Bell rushes for 24.1 yards per game and has found the end zone seven times on the ground. Jordan Kress comes in with 44.7 receiving yards per game and eight touchdowns. Elijah Lilly adds 46.0 yards with three touchdowns through four games with the team. Sherrod Williams' 43 tackles rank third in the IFL. He also has seven tackles for loss and a sack. Atoa Fox and Justic'e King have 30 and 29.5 tackles, respectively, and each has a pair of interceptions. Conor Mangan is averaging 38.9 yards on his kickoffs, which are more often than not squibs. The Strike Force average 51.1 points per game (fourth) and allow 47.3 (13th).
