BREAKDOWN
Bay Area is on a three-game winning streak and has won six of the last seven. With a win here, the Panthers could put some separation between them and the Rattlers in the standings for first place in the Western Conference. A loss puts the teams tied for first, but the Panthers would still own the tiebreaker following this week's slate of action. It's been a combination of consistency on offense and defense for the Panthers for most of the season. They're not overly flashy, but seem to find a way to get the job done when needed. Defeating the Rattlers would also give them the sweep of the season series between the teams. Justin Rankin's 54.8 rushing yards per game are third in the league. They score 50.1 points per game (fifth in IFL) and allow 43.1 (fifth).

BREAKDOWN
Arizona appears to be peaking at the right time. After getting some players back from injury, the Rattlers have reeled off three straight wins. That includes a thrilling double-overtime home win over the Northern Arizona Wranglers last week. With a favorable schedule which features four of their last five at home, the Rattlers' toughest test is probably this Panthers team which defeated them by a single point on March 26. They also host the Massachusetts Pirates in early July which could prove to be a challenge given the Pirates surge over the past few weeks. Quarterback Drew Powell has accounted for 60 touchdowns on the season; 33 through the air and 27 on the ground. They score 53.3 points per game (second in IFL) and allow 47.7 (ninth).
