BREAKDOWN
Sioux Falls, in the fifth spot in the Eastern Conference standings heading into this week, will look to string together some wins over the final five games of the season. This one is an opportunity to pick up a win as the Storm hope to crawl into playoff positioning. A rough stretch of the season follows, with three games against teams above them in the standings. There are some winnable games on that slate, including a visit to the Iowa Barnstormers on July 8, but a pivotal matchup will be against the fourth-seeded Green Bay Blizzard in week 15. The Oilers, while boasting just one win this season, have not been pushovers so the Storm will want to avoid this as a "trap game." They score 49.6 (sixth in IFL) and allow 41.9 (third).
