BREAKDOWN
Not a lot has gone right for Duke City this season, but have been in a couple of games thus far. Picking up their first win of the season in this one could be a way to turn around the Gladiators' season, but they'll have to do it in the unfriendly confines of the Wranglers' Findlay Toyota Center. These teams typically play some close games, but just can't seem to get over the hump. Despite their record, the Gladiators only average 5.4 points fewer than their opponents. Javin Kilgo has gotten the start through the first three games and has completed 53 percent of his throws for 132.0 yards with 11 touchdowns against seven interceptions. Tasleem “Taz” Wilson is a quality backup should Duke City call upon him. Jeff Carr is the main rushing thread, averaging 25.7 yards per game and has a touchdown. He also has two touchdowns in the receiving game. Gourney Sloan has 12 receptions for 123 yards and five touchdowns, and Gregory Dent, Jr. adds nine catches for 130 yards and three scores. Aaron Jackson leads the defense with 19 tackles and Jayson Serda has 13.5 tackles. Tre Claybourne and Greg Thomas add 13 and 12 tackles, respectively. Ernesto Lacayo averages 56.8 yards per kickoff and a league-high five deuces. The Gladiators score 40/3 points per game (10th) and allow 45.7 (11th).

BREAKDOWN
After a season-opening loss at the Arizona Rattlers, Northern Arizona has reeled off a pair of wins. That puts the Wranglers in fourth place; a spot in which they can remain with a win over the visiting Gladiators. The Wranglers have a talented mix of offense, defense and special teams, but they're still looking for that outstanding all-around performance to overtake their opponent. Putting together a full, 60-minute performance will be instrumental in the team's success this season. Josh Jones has been impressive at quarterback. He comes in completing 68 percent of his throws for 133.3 yards per game with eight touchdowns and no interceptions. He also rushes for 32.7 yards per game with four touchdowns. Backup Dillon Sterline-Cole is completing 50 percent of his passes. Arsiah “RZ” McCorker has 12 catches for 160 yards and four touchdowns, and is a threat as a kick returner. John Maldonado adds 12 receptions for 131 yards and four touchdowns, and Justin Manyweather has 10 receptions for 129 yards and a score. The defense is led by Shanon Reid's 17 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Malik Sonnier has 14 tackles and Travion Banks 12.5. Sonnier and Banks also each have an interception. Axel Perez is averaging 46.4 yards per kickoff. The Wranglers score 51.3 points per game (third) and allow 49.7 (15th).
