Neal himself has been playing through a leg injury for much of the season. San Diego clinched its first playoff spot in franchise history last week. Now the Strike Force have an opportunity to clinch the second seed in Western Conference which comes with home-field advantage in the opening round of the playoffs. With a loss, they could fall to third or fourth and find themselves on the road to open the playoffs. The Strike Force have made strides in each of their four seasons in the IFL. They won a single game during their inaugural season of 2019, five games in 2022, six in 2023 and 10 so far this season. It's been a very strong season for the Strike Force who have historically struggled on defense, but have the fifth-best scoring defense in the league this year. Nate Davis is second in the league in touchdown passes with 66 and third in yards per game with 183.4. Arthur Jackson III is second in the league with 24 touchdown grabs and Jordan Kress is tied for 10th with 14. Rudy Johnson, the backup quarterback has proven himself as a reliable rusher and receiver on offense. Sherrod Williams' 79.5 tackles are good for seventh in the league and JaQuan Artis is tied for fourth with 5.5 sacks. The Strike Force score 49.3 points per game (sixth) and allow 44.1 (fifth).
