11/19/18 --
The following is the 2019 schedule for the Nebraska Danger.
Nebraska is entering its ninth season in the Indoor Football League. After starting last season with three straight wins, the Danger dropped 10 of its last 11 to finish 4-10. Still, they advanced to the playoffs as the fourth seed. The postseason was not kind, however, as they were routed in the United Conference Championship by the eventual champion Iowa Barnstormers.
The Danger open their season at home against the Bismarck Bucks. They head to Green Bay to face the Blizzard in week two before enjoying two home dates by last season's United Bowl participants, the Barnstormers and the Sioux Falls Storm. They close out their season with a pair of road games against the San Diego Strike Force and the Barnstormers. The Danger do not play more than two straight at home nor on the road. They face the Blizzard three times this season. Compared to most of their IFL counterparts, they will play each of the other nine teams at least once in 2019.
Each IFL team plays 14 games (seven home and seven away), and has three bye weeks. The Danger's byes come in weeks 4, 12 and 15. They play their home games at Eihusen Arena at Grand Island, Nebraska. IFL Hall of Famer Cornelius "Pig" Brown is the Danger's head coach.
All Danger games will be broadcast locally on the radio and will be available for streaming through those stations. SCtoC will provide links in its previews of the games, as well as recaps of each IFL game. All IFL games are available to be streamed on video via the IFL's YouTube channel.
Below is the Danger's 2019 schedule. Home games are noted in bold green. Times and dates are subject to change. All times are pacific. Click on the final score to access the boxcore and Recap for SCtoC's recap of each game.
